Made In collaboration with Lonneke Worm. The ‘After the Storm’ series presents nocturnal photographs depicting the aftermath of a storm, capturing serene moments in the aftermath of disaster. Simone and Lonneke drew inspiration from images documenting the aftermath of cyclones and hurricanes. They were struck by the dislocation and displacement of both objects and individuals, depicting a world that has been profoundly altered, where the familiar ceases to exist.
